Project Management

With over a year of experience as a virtual assistant (read more here), I realized I could do more for my clients. In the winter of 2019, I took a course that taught the principles of project management called The Project Management Pathway at Build Your Skills.

In the course, we covered the basics of everything that goes into creating a project (graphic design with Canva, coding in WordPress, customer service, etc.) and the phases of a project. While I already knew some of this information before taking the course, I learned a lot about how it all fits together and got a more complete picture of the process.

Over the course of working with my clients and my own desire to learn, I have gained experience in various software. Here’s a list of the different organizational software I have experience with:

  • Asana
  • Teamwork
  • Trello

While the geeky side of me loves Teamwork the best out of this list, I can organize your project in whichever software you prefer!

I have also started learning software that is used in the steps of creating a project. While I am still in the learning phases for some of these, I am always looking to expand my knowledge and skills. As a quick learner and a hard worker, I love getting into new software or learning more about software I already know. Here’s a list of the ones I have experience with:

  • Google Suite
  • Keap (formerly Infusionsoft)
  • SendOwl
  • Slack
  • WordPress
  • ActiveCampaign
  • SendOwl

There’s nothing I love more than providing a needed service and being able to see how that has helped my clients gain back so much time!
